Common questions
What type of cars can I hire in Kigali?
Whatever suits your trip: a RAV4 for Kigali and the main roads, a Land Cruiser Prado or TZ Land Cruiser for the national parks, an extended safari Land Cruiser for game drives, or a Coaster bus for groups of eight or more.
Can I drive a hire car into Uganda or Tanzania?
Yes. Cross-border trips to Uganda and Tanzania are allowed as long as your rental agreement covers it. Tell us when you book and we will prepare the paperwork.
Is it safe to self-drive into DR Congo?
We do not recommend it at the moment because of unrest in parts of the country. Talk to us first if you are planning to visit.
Do you charge for airport pick-up and drop-off?
No. Our office is on the Airport Road and transfers are free. Send us your arrival time before you travel. For the drop-off, leave about a quarter tank of fuel.
Can I hire a car with a driver?
Yes. Every car in the fleet is available with an experienced driver-guide, for a day in Kigali or a full safari.
