Your Kigali airport arrival, step by step
- Immigration: show your passport and your visa, or get a visa on arrival if you are eligible. Read Rwanda visa and travel documents.
- Health check: have your yellow fever certificate ready if you are coming from a yellow fever country.
- Baggage and customs: remember that plastic bags are banned in Rwanda.
- SIM card: buy a local SIM for cheap data and calls.
- Cash: withdraw some Rwandan francs for fuel and small purchases.

Your first drive
